Key Responsibilities

Month-End & Reporting

  • Prepare and post journals for accruals, prepayments, and other month-end adjustments.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts across multiple entities.

  • Support the preparation of consolidated management accounts and statutory reporting.

  • Assist in variance analysis and commentary for month-end reviews.

  • Be a key player in enacting change in systems and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and understanding.

Balance Sheet Control

  • Own reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolution of differences.

  • Maintain fixed asset registers and manage depreciation postings.

  • Support with intercompany reconciliations and settlement processes across global entities.

Compliance & Audit Support

  • Ensure all entries and documentation comply with accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS).

  • Prepare audit schedules and support external audit requirements.

  • Assist in maintaining internal controls and process documentation.

  • Work alongside our 3rd party tax consultants to ensure compliance with local taxes and governance.

Process & Systems Improvement

  • Support continuous improvement of financial processes to drive accuracy and efficiency.

  • Identify opportunities for automation and standardization across ledgers.

  • Contribute to ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including ERP developments.

The Role

Senior Finance Executive

Requirements

  1. Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).

  2. Solid experience in general ledger accounting within a multi-entity or international environment.

  3. Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and month-end processes.

  4. Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Infor or similar) desirable.

  5. Sufficient knowledge of tax and compliance requirements to support 3 rd party consultants.

  6. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  7. Organised and reliable, able to manage multiple deadlines effectively.

  8. Curious and proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
