About the Role
You work on our Salesforce-based HR platform, focusing on both frontend and backend components. On the frontend, you will build complex LWC components and custom UI elements. On the backend, you’ll design and build scalable Apex logic. You will ensure that all development adheres to security best practices, including enforcing field-level security, sharing settings, and protecting against common vulnerabilities like SOQL injection. Additionally, you'll maintain and refactor legacy Visualforce and Aura components, migrating to LWC, while ensuring system scalability within Salesforce’s governance limits.
As a tech lead you also have a good understanding of software architecture with particular Domain Driven Design and you are familiar with the various design patterns. You will work closely with the team in the Netherlands, and especially the technical architect, to bridge the gap from a technical perspective between the Dutch team and the Sri Lankan team.
Key Responsibilities
With a good understanding of the functional requirements you create technical Designs based on Domain Driven Design and other architectural guidelines.
Verify the design with the Technical Architect, making sure all design guidelines are followed and the piece of development fits the overall architecture
Guide and support the team of Developers to work on the feature at hand, and support them building according to the designs.
Build and optimize secure Apex backend logic, ensuring adherence to Salesforce security principles
Develop secure Lightning Web Components and custom UI elements
Maintain and refactor Visualforce and Aura components, migrating to LWC where applicable
Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) to align the architecture with business needs
Ensure platform performance and compliance with Salesforce governance and security settings.
Your Profile
English language at an advanced level. Language skills assessment is part of the recruitment procedure.
Experience working with international teams and effectively aligning remotely across different time zones and cultural contexts.
Minimal of 2 years of experience in a Tech Lead role
5 years of experience in Development (JAVA/.NET) with through understanding of OOP / DDD or 5 years of experience in Salesforce Development with complex applications
Experience with Apex, Visual Force, LWC / React and Aura
Experience with Salesforce architecture, Domain Driven Design, and enforcing security at all levels (object, field, and record)
