As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will be a vital part of our small but powerful frontend team, taking on the immense complexity of our platform's UI. Your deep knowledge of React will be critical as you build and maintain the core client-side application. We need a strong, consistent engineer who can handle complexity without getting lost and can work independently without needing to be "babysat." You will report to the Frontend Lead and be responsible for shipping high-quality, resilient, and user-friendly interfaces.
What You'll Do
Take ownership of building complex features for our main platform using React, TypeScript, and Vite
Develop interactive and dynamic user interfaces, working with our styling library (MUI)
Handle a large amount of application state and complexity, ensuring the UI remains performant and stable
Write meaningful and maintainable unit tests for your code using Vitest
Collaborate closely with backend, design, and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience
Contribute to our Next.js-based website and Docusaurus documentation site as needed
What You'll Bring (Requirements)
Must-Haves:
6+ years of deep, in-depth knowledge of React and its core principles
Strong professional experience with TypeScript
Proven experience building complex, client-side rendered applications
Experience writing and maintaining Unit Tests (e.g., Jest, Vitest)
The ability to handle a high degree of technical complexity and ambiguity
Nice-to-Haves:
Experience with MUI or other component libraries
Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering
A good eye for UI design and a passion for creating a great user experience
