About the role
The Back-End Developer will design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs. This role requires deep expertise in Python, Django, relational data modeling, caching strategies, and distributed systems. You will help architect back-end components, ensure data integrity, and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain back-end services using Python and Django
Design and implement scalable REST APIs and microservice components
Work with PostgreSQL for relational data modeling and query optimisation
Implement caching layers using Redis
Build secure user authentication and authorization systems
Contribute to system architecture and performance optimizations
Write clean, efficient, well-tested code
Collaborate closely with front-end and infrastructure teams
6+ years of professional back-end development experience
Strong proficiency with Python, Django, and REST API design
Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and microservice architectures
Solid understanding of distributed system patterns and scalability principles
