The Role
We are seeking a Technical Lead to lead the development of our cloud-based management system for indoor network products. These products utilize Polymer Optical Fiber (POF) as the data transportation medium and are integrated with cloud-based services for management, configuration, and monitoring.
The role involves close collaboration with international ODM partners in Germany and Taiwan, as well as software development partners in the Netherlands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with expertise in creating robust, scalable solutions for hardware-connected cloud systems.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in developing software systems for (near) real-time applications.
Proficient in programming RESTful APIs using JSON data structures.
Experience working with and/or creating (near) real-time public APIs.
Skilled in PHP.
Ability to interpret and/or write in C is a strong plus.
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
Good to Have
Able to Interpret and/or write in C.
Experience in a cloud-based hosting environment (AWS preferred).
Experience in online server management (self hosting)
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Expertise in authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Experience with account/user management using security tokens.
Familiarity with DataLakes.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
Experience with networking solutions such as Cisco Meraki, HP Aruba, or Fortinet is a plus.
Affinity for embedded software, with experience in OpenWRT being an advantage.
