About the Role
Youʼll join a small, product-led team that ships fast and values clean code, pragmatic tests, and thoughtful UX. Youʼll collaborate with engineering and a partner SME to scope work tightly and ship improvements each month.
Responsibilities
Build and ship features in React Native with Expo
Implement clean, accessible UI and smooth interactions
Integrate with existing APIs and handle client-side state, caching, and error handling
Maintain app performance, stability, and monitoring
Own releases: build, test, and publish to TestFlight and Google Play
Fix bugs, write pragmatic tests, and improve developer tooling
Collaborate asynchronously via issues, short specs, and code reviews
5+ years building production React Native apps
Strong proficiency with Expo, React Navigation, TypeScript, and modern React patterns
Experience with app distribution, certificates, and OTA updates EAS
Solid understanding of mobile performance, profiling, and offline patterns
Comfortable reading API contracts and understanding them
Familiar with automated testing for CI for mobile builds
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently with a small monthly cadence.
Nice to have
Python familiarity to understand backend context or debug integration issues
Experience with analytics, feature flags, and A/B testing on mobile
Knowledge of native modules, push notifications, deep linking, and in-app purchases
