The Role
At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent. If you are an experienced and ambitious Senior Front-end Engineer with strong programming fundamentals and the ability to adopt new frameworks as needed we want to hear from you.
As a Senior Front-end Engineer, you will be expected to architect, develop, and release user-facing features and ensure the quality of our product continues to serve the needs of our tens of millions of users.
Main frontend skills
4+ years of professional front-end developer experience
Experience working with Vue, Web Component
Experience with both JavaScript and TypeScript
Experience with CSS and HTML5, HTTP protocol
Experience writing front-end tests using Cypress and/or Playwright will be an added advantage
Extra frontend skills
Good UX and UI design skills.
Good knowledge of how browsers work in terms of performance, security, and functionality
Understanding of front-end cloud architectures
Experience with development for different types of platforms and device sizes
General experience
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Experience with working in an agile product development environment
Personal skills
Can work independently but knows when to ask questions
Communication skills
You can communicate effectively and translate requirements into well-designed technical solutions
Excellent English communication skills
