About the Role
An experienced Senior Finance Specialist with strong expertise to collaborate closely with the CFO overseeing multiple ventures. This role is dynamic and involves managing the finances of various smaller ventures, holding companies, and SPVs. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, trustworthy, and able to manage complex, ad hoc, and project-driven tasks with minimal supervision.
Oversee the financial operations of multiple ventures, including holding companies and SPVs
Manage complex, project-driven work, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
Handle accounting tasks such as financial statements, tax filings, and audit preparation
Collaborate with external service providers and internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations
Provide strategic financial insights to support the growth of the ventures
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, particularly regarding Dutch tax systems (knowledge of Dutch tax is preferred but not required)
Act as the right hand to the CFO, assisting in ad hoc financial projects and decision-making processes
5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, including 3+ years in a managerial position
Strong accounting background, preferably with Big Four experience
Proven ability to manage complex financial projects
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to handle multiple ventures simultaneously
Trustworthy and proactive
A flexible and adaptable personality to navigate the demands of various projects
Trustworthy and self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong English communication skills are necessary.
Notes
Intensive support/training planned for the first month (potentially in-person).
Systems: Exact Online, considering a document management system, open to new financial systems.
Focus more on attitude and quality of experience over specific skills.
