About the Opportunity
We’re working on a high-impact project in the aviation sector, focused on reducing food waste — a challenge where nearly 30% of onboard meals and beverages go uneaten. The goal is to build a solution that tracks in-flight inventory in real time, using AI and video recognition.
We’re looking for a IOS Developer to refine and productionalize a key component: a bridge written in Swift that connects AI models to an iPad application.
What You’ll Do
Refactor and improve an existing Swift component to meet production standards
Migrate to standard Apple libraries such as VisionKit
Implement dynamic loading of AI models on-device
Package the component for integration (not copy-paste)
Set up CI/CD, testing, and documentation
Optionally: own domain logic for tracking and counting objects identified by AI
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience building Swift applications or libraries in the Apple ecosystem
Hands-on exposure to Vision, VisionKit, or Core ML
Experience shipping production code (CI/CD, packaging, testing, documentation)
Ability to refactor legacy or prototype code into clean architecture
Nice to have: experience with dynamic AI model loading and computer vision integration on Apple platforms
