About the role
As a Full stack Developer, you will have a challenging and responsible role where you will work on our product, more specifically our internal tools and applications Our goal is to provide the best user experience, and we always strive to achieve this to the fullest. That's why we constantly push the technology and iterate on all features to deliver maximum results and nothing less than a wow effect.
Key Responsibilities
Development and maintenance of tools and applications: The Fullstack Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining web scraping tools and related applications used to collect and analyze data from various websites. This includes writing code to extract, process, and integrate data into the client’s platform.
Expansion of applications to new countries: As the client scales their product globally, the developer will help build and adapt applications to support international expansion.
Research and implementation of new technologies: The role involves continuously exploring and implementing new technologies and frameworks to enhance platform performance and optimize the user experience.
Mentor junior engineers, follow DevOps practices and set up best practices: As an experienced developer we expect more than just building features and reviewing code. You should help us improve our standards, put in place best practices and a culture of ownership and DevOps mentality and mentor and coach our juniors.
6+ years of professional experience as a software developer in a full-stack or backend-focused role.
Proficiency in PHP 8+; experience with the Slim framework (is a plus), or any other modern PHP framework.
Experience building frontend applications using React (Angular or Vue also acceptable with strong expertise).
Ability to contribute effectively across multiple stages of product development, from design to deployment.
Hands-on experience with AWS
Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and environment management.
Experience with PHPUnit for testing.
Comfortable working in a Mac-based development environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork.
Hands-on coder who keeps code simple, clean, and readable.
