The Role

Passionate about Project Management, solving organisational problems in a software environment? Interested in establishing yourself in applied Artificial Intelligence (AI) in HealthTech?

We builds AI solutions for life sciences companies. Our platform delivers predictions, suggestions, and explanations that help pharma executives and operational teams make complex decisions, getting the right drug to the right patient. We have already generated millions of actionable insights across top pharma companies. For us, AI isn’t a research project, it’s deployed, monitored, and operationalized to drive real health outcomes through agile iteration and co-creation.

Our Client is rapidly growing and we’re looking for a Project Manager to own predictable, on-time delivery for one or more squads. This role is accountable for “Time & Money” delivery commitments, integrated planning, and execution risk management, while partnering closely with Product Managers (What & Why) and Squad Leads (Technical Solution).

Project Management in this model moves from facilitating to owning on-time delivery: you ensure the organization can make and keep credible delivery commitments.

Role Boundaries

  • You do NOT own product vision, value, or backlog prioritization (Product Manager owns What & Why).

  • You do NOT decide on technical design and/or implementation (the Squad Lead owns the Technical Solution and end-to-end technical quality).

  • You DO own delivery predictability: plans, dependencies, risks, change control, and release readiness/go-no-go.

What You’ll Do

1) Own Delivery Predictability (Time & Money)

  • Own delivery commitments for one or more squads across sprint and release horizons.

  • Maintain an integrated delivery plan (milestones, critical path, dependencies, and capacity) and keep it current.

  • Monitor progress and intervene early when delivery is at risk; force explicit trade-offs (scope sequencing, timing, resourcing) via escalation where needed.

  • Create transparency to stakeholders on milestones, status, and forecasts.

2) Release Orchestration & Go/No-Go Ownership

  • Orchestrate release readiness across squads and stakeholders (Product, Engineering/AI, QA, Ops).

  • Own the release decision forum process (go/no-go): ensure criteria are met, risks are understood, and decisions are documented.

  • Coordinate cut over communications and release execution steps, ensuring owners are assigned and timelines are clear.

3) Formal RAID Log Ownership & Change Control

  • Own and maintain a RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for each squad/initiative in your scope.

  • Drive mitigations, due dates, and accountable owners; escalate when risk thresholds are breached.

  • Own delivery change control: when scope, capacity, or priority changes, ensure impacts to delivery commitments are assessed, agreed, and communicated.

4) Planning, Capacity & Delivery Cadence

  • Support team leads in translating goals into plans, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Run delivery cadence (planning, mid-sprint risk checks, delivery reviews) to keep commitments credible.

  • Perform capacity checks and scenario planning; surface constraints and recommended options to leadership.

5) Documentation & Reporting (Outcome-focused, not status theater)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to document scope, deliverables, goals, risks, blockers, success measures, and estimated resources needed.

  • Report to management on progress against delivery.
