The Role
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for building, testing, and maintaining product features within a cross-functional team. You take ownership of your implementations from design to production and contribute to delivering stable, scalable, and maintainable software. You operate within architectural and technical guidelines set by the Software Architect and Lead Developer, while actively contributing to code quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement of the development process.

What You'll Do

5+ years of overall experience excluding internship.
Design and implement product features across our stack (Laravel backend and Next.js frontend).
Translate functional and technical requirements into robust implementations.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code in PHP and TypeScript.
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to prevent regressions.
Debug and resolve bugs and production issues.
Contribute to system reliability by considering performance, security, and edge cases.
Participate in code reviews and apply coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, and other engineers to deliver features.
Support deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and monitor application behavior (logs, metrics).
Identify and contribute to technical improvements within the team.

Requirements

Must-Haves

Experience in backend and/or frontend development
Hands-on experience with PHP (preferably Laravel) and TypeScript (preferably React/Next.js/Vue.js).
Solid understanding of software quality (testing, debugging, maintainability).
Experience with modern development tooling and frameworks.
Basic understanding of DevOps practices (CI/CD, deployments, monitoring).
Awareness of performance, security, and scalability at component level.
Ability to work independently within defined boundaries and take ownership.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience working in a product-driven environment.
Familiarity with scalable web architectures.
Experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing).
Experience working in a fullstack role across backend and frontend.
