What you’ll be working on
- Build and maintain features and fixes across our Vue 2 / TypeScript storefront
- Contribute to our React-based Trade Portal, working on areas such as forms, data fetching and internationalization
- Make small, reviewed changes to our ASP.NET Core services and APIs using Entity Framework
- Work with existing codebases and improve them rather than only working on greenfield projects
- Write and maintain automated tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library or Playwright
- Pair with senior engineers on checkout and work that crosses multiple systems
- Work across our international digital commerce platform serving multiple markets
What we’re looking for
- 2–5 years of professional software development experience
- Production experience with Vue, ideally with some experience in React as well
- A willingness and interest in working with React as more of our UI moves in that direction
- Some experience with C# / .NET, whether through professional work, university or substantial personal projects
- Good knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript
- Experience working with REST or GraphQL APIs
- Basic SQL knowledge
- Comfortable reading, understanding and modifying existing code
- Experience writing or extending automated tests
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior engineers
Nice to have
Experience with any of the following would be a plus:
- Nuxt / Vue Storefront / Alokai
- Vue 2
- BigCommerce or Stencil
- ASP.NET Core / Entity Framework Core
- Azure / Entra / MSAL
- Jest, React Testing Library or Playwright
- Internationalisation (i18n)
- E-commerce platforms
This is not a Vue-only role or a React-only role.
Vue is an important part of the current platform, while React and .NET are key parts of where we’re heading. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable working with Vue today and growing into React and .NET over time.
This is also not a senior architecture role. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, taking ownership of scoped tickets while continuing to develop your technical skills.
The ideal candidate
You might be a strong fit if you have:
- Vue experience from your current or previous role, plus some React and C# exposure
- React experience from a professional project, with Vue experience elsewhere
- A junior .NET background combined with Vue or React experience through university, bootcamps or personal projects
What matters most is that you have shipped software, are comfortable working with existing code, and are genuinely interested in developing across Vue, React and .NET.
