About the role
The Senior SEO Specialist will work closely with the Dutch SEO team and support a Junior SEO Specialist based in the Netherlands.

This role requires someone who can take ownership of the SEO domain, guide the junior team member, and reduce the day-to-day SEO workload from the client side. The focus is mainly on organic SEO, technical SEO, content SEO, GEO, reporting, and improving client performance.

The candidate should be data-driven, proactive, structured, and comfortable working independently in a fully remote setup.

Key Responsibilities

Support and guide the Dutch Junior SEO Specialist.
Develop and execute SEO and GEO strategies.
Conduct technical SEO audits and identify improvement areas.
Perform keyword and competitor research.
Create content strategies, content plans, and SEO briefs.
Optimize SEO content using AI tools.
Improve visibility across Google and AI platforms such as ChatGPT.
Monitor rankings, traffic, conversions, and LLM visibility.
Build and analyze reports using GA4 and Google Search Console.
Turn SEO data into clear actions and priorities.
Monitor results from a broader business and client performance perspective.
Make basic updates and improvements to WordPress websites.
Work with developers when deeper technical support is required.
Review SEO work and maintain a high quality standard.
Report progress and results to the Dutch team.

The Role

Senior SEO Specialist

Requirements

At least 4 years of hands-on SEO experience.
Strong experience in Technical SEO and Content SEO.
Strong experience with GA4 and Google Search Console.
Good understanding of keyword research, competitor research, technical audits, and SEO reporting.
Ability to turn data into concrete improvements.
Experience with WordPress and website optimization is a major advantage.
Understanding of how SEO contributes to leads, sales, and broader business goals.
Ability to guide and support a junior SEO specialist.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for results.
Structured way of working and comfortable managing multiple clients.
Comfortable working during agreed hours with overlap with the Netherlands.

Nice to Have

Experience with Google Tag Manager and tracking.
Experience with SE Ranking or similar SEO tools.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, website speed, structured data, and common WordPress plugins.
Experience with GEO, AI search optimization, and LLM visibility tracking.
Experience using AI tools for research, content optimization, and performance improvement.
Broader strategic marketing knowledge.
