About the roleYou will work as part of a development team, focusing on ensuring the quality of a modern platform built with TypeScript, NestJS, React, and PostgreSQL. Working within a Spec-Driven Development approach, they will contribute from the specification stage onwards, where formal specifications serve as the source of truth before development begins. The role involves designing and maintaining automated tests, validating contracts, and leveraging AI tools daily to generate, enhance, and evaluate test coverage, helping ensure the reliability and quality of the platform.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, review, and maintain Playwright end-to-end automation integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Help design and expand the test automation framework and test data strategy for the new technology stack.
- Build API and contract tests based on formal OpenAPI specifications.
- Leverage AI tools to generate test cases, improve test coverage, and perform risk analysis to identify areas requiring additional testing.
- Communicate test results and quality risks through clear reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting release readiness decisions.
- Monitor automated test executions, investigate failures, reduce flaky tests, and maintain reliable test outcomes.
- Convert production incidents and reported defects into automated regression test cases.
- Review and challenge functional specifications before development begins, ensuring they are complete, testable, and ready for implementation
