About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Short-Term UI/UX Expert (STE) to execute a well-defined set of UI/UX improvements for their professional B2B e-commerce platform. This is a high-impact, focused engagement aimed at modernizing key customer journeys for professionals across Europe.

You will work closely with the client's Head of IT and internal development team. The scope of work is clearly documented in a comprehensive UI/UX Requirements Specification, with a strong focus on delivering an intuitive, modern, and conversion-driven user experience within the agreed engagement timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement the complete list of UI/UX improvements across Homepage, Product Detail Page (sticky tabs, variants), Checkout flow, My Account (full redesign), PLP, Favorites, Notifications, FAQ, and Blog taxonomy pages

• Prioritize and deliver mobile-first responsive enhancements and overall usability improvements

• Ensure consistent typography, visual hierarchy, and professional B2B aesthetics

• Collaborate on technical decisions regarding component architecture, state management, and integration with the existing e-commerce platform and PIM

• Perform thorough cross-device and cross-browser testing; iterate quickly based on feedback

• Deliver clean, well-documented, maintainable frontend code

• Support knowledge transfer and documentation for internal team handover

The Role

Freelance UI/UX Frontend Developer

Requirements

Excellent proficiency in React.js (estg.eu frontend is built with React.js). Strong experience with modern React patterns, hooks, component architecture, state management, and responsive UI libraries.

Strong skills in Tailwind CSS (or equivalent utility-first CSS) and modern responsive design

Proven experience improving UX on B2B platforms with product catalogs, variants, account dashboards, and checkout flows

Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and mobile UX best practices

Eye for detail, clean code quality, and professional visual taste suitable for B2B audiences

Ability to work independently and deliver results in a short-term, high-focus engagement

Fluent in English (Dutch and Portuguese language skills are a plus)
