Job Overview
At Gapstars, our goal is to fuel growth for highly ambitious tech companies with world-class tech talent.As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, managing, and scaling cloud-native architectures. You will work closely with engineering and data science teams to enhance deployment efficiency and optimize cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native architectures with AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
Maintain Git-based CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Helm or similar tools.
Optimize Kubernetes-based deployments for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and debug cloud infrastructure issues.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions for cloud infrastructure.
Drive best practices in security, reliability, and system scalability.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline automation (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).
Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
Experience in scripting and automation (Python, Bash).
Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
Experience with AI/ML deployment in cloud environments.
Familiarity with networking and security protocols in cloud-based systems.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana, Prometheus
