About the role
Looking for an experienced Audit professional to support audit managers and partners by independently handling complex audit areas and contributing to the delivery of high-quality audit engagements. The successful candidate will work closely with audit teams based in the Netherlands, supporting multiple client engagements while operating remotely from Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

Independently execute complex audit areas such as inventory, revenue, and other significant audit cycles.
Prepare and maintain audit working papers in accordance with audit methodology and professional standards.
Analyze financial information and identify audit risks and findings.
Support audit managers and partners in the completion of audit engagements.
Guide and support junior team members when required.
Collaborate effectively with Dutch audit teams through regular communication and progress updates.
Utilize AI tools and technology to improve audit efficiency and productivity.
Work within the firm's audit software and comply with established audit processes and documentation standards.

Requirements

Must-Have Technical Skills:

5+ years of audit experience
Ability to work independently on complex parts of an audit
Experience with preparing working papers and performing substantive procedures
Good understanding of Excel
Experience using AI tools (like ChatGPT) in audit process

Soft Skills:

Good communication
A proactive attitude
Experience in guiding junior colleagues
Experience with international clients
