About the role

This is a hands-on role for someone with a strong finance foundation, a sharp eye for detail, and the confidence to work independently. We are intentionally looking for a candidate with a somewhat more senior profile than a traditional finance administrator, so this person can take ownership, maintain structure, and act proactively with limited supervision.

You will be responsible for managing the finance administration end-to-end while also being actively involved in the day-to-day checks of the core business process. You will help ensure that operational activities are accurately reflected in the financial administration, that discrepancies are identified quickly, and that month-end closing is well supported.

This role combines accounting, operational control, reconciliations, and process ownership. It is ideal for someone who is hands-on, structured, and comfortable operating in an international environment.

  • Take ownership of the day-to-day finance administration

  • Process and review purchase invoices, sales invoices, bank transactions, and journal entries

  • Maintain accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger records

  • Perform day-to-day checks and controls on the core business process to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency

  • Monitor operational and financial data, identify discrepancies, and follow up on exceptions

  • Reconcile operational activity with financial records and investigate mismatches proactively

  • Prepare reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and supporting schedules

  • Support and help coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process

  • Ensure that financial records are complete, well-structured, and audit-ready

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve data quality, financial controls, and process discipline

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement stronger controls and more efficient ways of working
