You\u2019ll work closely with our client\u2019s engineering team to establish a secure AWS landing zone, improve deployment reliability, and build repeatable processes that the team can confidently maintain.<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p><strong>AWS Foundations: <\/strong>Assess and improve our client\u2019s AWS landing zone, account and environment separation, networking, access controls, and security guardrails.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Infrastructure as Code<\/strong>: Ensure infrastructure changes are version-controlled, reviewable, and reproducible, with clear configuration and drift management.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>CI\/CD:<\/strong> Improve GitHub Actions pipelines to enhance build reliability, deployment speed, and automated quality and security checks.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Release Management:<\/strong> Establish a reliable path from code review to deployment, including version traceability, coordinated frontend\/backend releases, safe database migrations, and tested rollback procedures.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Cloud Security:<\/strong> Strengthen least-privilege access, workload identities, secrets management, encryption, audit logging, and vulnerability remediation.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Reliability and Recovery:<\/strong> Implement actionable monitoring and alerts, and validate backup and recovery procedures.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Cost Optimisation:<\/strong> Identify unnecessary cloud expenditure and right-size resources without compromising performance or reliability.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p><strong>Continuous Improvement: <\/strong>Work closely with our client\u2019s engineering team to assess the existing AWS infrastructure and delivery setup, prioritise improvements, and establish secure, repeatable processes the team can confidently maintain.<\/p>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What We\u2019re Looking For<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Strong hands-on experience building, managing, and maintaining production AWS environments.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Experience with AWS landing zones, multi-account governance, IAM, networking, and security controls.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Practical experience with Docker, container deployments, and GitHub Actions CI\/CD pipelines.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Confidence supporting databases, message queues, and background processing.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Strong troubleshooting skills across application and infrastructure layers, particularly during deployments and production incidents.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Sound judgment in balancing security, delivery speed, cloud costs, reliability, and operational complexity.<\/p>\n<li>\n<p>Clear communication and a collaborative, hands-on approach, with the ability to implement improvements rather than simply provide recommendations.<\/p>\n<p>\t<strong>Perks &#038; Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\tWe believe taking care of our people is non-negotiable.
