About the Role<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for structurally improving and safeguarding software quality and security across the product team. This role focuses on building a practical and scalable quality foundation, improving release stability, and ensuring that quality and security are embedded early in the development lifecycle. You will combine hands-on execution with strategic direction, working closely with engineering and product teams to reduce production issues, improve testing practices, and increase overall team maturity<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.QA Strategy and Maturity Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Assess current QA practices and identify gaps in testing coverage and processes<\/p>\n

\u25cf Define and maintain a clear, practical QA strategy aligned with team maturity<\/p>\n

\u25cf Establish quality standards such as Definition of Done and release readiness criteria<\/p>\n

\u25cf Identify risks and translate them into actionable improvements<\/p>\n

2. Test Coverage and Automation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Improve test coverage across backend (API) and frontend<\/p>\n

\u25cf Introduce structured approaches to integration testing and regression testing<\/p>\n

\u25cf Guide implementation of automated tests within CI\/CD pipelines<\/p>\n

\u25cf Improve reliability and effectiveness of automated checks<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

3. Production Stability and Root Cause Analysis<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Monitor production issues using logs, metrics, and error tracking tools<\/p>\n

\u25cf Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analysis<\/p>\n

\u25cf Work with engineering teams to implement structural fixes, not just patches<\/p>\n

\u25cf Reduce regression rates and improve release predictability<\/p>\n

4. Security and Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Act as a point of contact for application-level security topics<\/p>\n

\u25cf Support triage, prioritization, and follow-up of security findings<\/p>\n

\u25cf Ensure vulnerabilities are resolved and validated appropriately<\/p>\n

\u25cf Translate secure coding principles (e.g. OWASP) into practical team guidelines<\/p>\n

5. Quality in Development<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Ensure quality checks are integrated into development and release workflows<\/p>\n

\u25cf Support teams in validating features across different customer scenarios, data sets, and integration points<\/p>\n

\u25cf Improve validation beyond happy-path testing<\/p>\n

6. Team Enablement<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u25cf Coach engineers on writing effective tests and thinking beyond happy paths<\/p>\n

\u25cf Support Product Owners in improving acceptance criteria and ensuring requirements are testable<\/p>\n

\u25cf Increase overall team awareness and maturity in quality and secure coding practices<\/p>\n

\u25cf Experience improving QA practices in growing or scaling product teams<\/p>\n

\u25cf Strong understanding of unit, integration, and API testing<\/p>\n

\u25cf Hands-on experience with test automation and CI\/CD integration<\/p>\n

\u25cf Ability to analyze defects and identify root causes<\/p>\n

\u25cf Strong collaboration and communication skills<\/p>\n
